Coastal Fibernet Acquires Kloud Konnect — Uniting Two Vidalia Internet Leaders Under One Name

Vidalia, GA — [11/06/2025] — Coastal Fibernet is proud to announce that it has officially acquired Kloud Konnect, combining two of Vidalia’s most trusted internet providers into one company. The merger marks a new chapter of growth, innovation, and service excellence for residents and businesses across the region.

Founded in 2014 by Arty Allmond, Kloud Konnect began as a locally owned wireless internet provider dedicated to expanding broadband access in and around Vidalia. After years of growth, Allmond co-founded Coastal Fibernet in 2022 with two partners, bringing high-speed fiber internet to the community.

Now, as of September 2025, Allmond has completed the purchase of his partners’ shares and will unite both companies under the Coastal Fibernet brand.
